My Style: I'm a ginger

You know that feeling you get when you just want to cut all of your hair off and be like, "Woo! I feel like a new woman!" Well, I get that feeling from time to time but instead of chopping several inches I chose to transform into a ginger. I've been craving some sort of change, you know, just a little refresher.  So when it came time to make decisions I found myself sitting in front of Pinterest ogling the varying shades of burgundy.

Next thing I knew I was sitting in the stylist chair, letting that ruby color set in. Next thing I knew, BOOM. I'm officially an honorary red head.



I'm pretty pleased with this new look and I can't wait to show you more!

So I've decided for the month of December I am going to have a big ol' link up. I've had this idea for a while and now I am actually planning and putting it all together! For now, that's all I will reveal but I think it will be really fun for you all to link up!

Traveling is a definite passion of mine. I love exploring new cities, trying new foods and making new friends.
Over the years I have been to some amazing cities; Austin, San Francisco, Boston, Portland... just to name a few.
I am so fortunate to be able to travel as much as I do. I have a great job that allows me the freedom to plan trips and fun getaways. This is what I work for. I work so I can play.
I work so I can go on crazy adventures and follow my heart to unknown places.
And that is exactly what I am doing today.
Today I'm following my heart to NYC.
And I'm pretty sure I'm going to fall in love.
I've been known to fall in love with cities.

Top Knot Tutorial

Thank you so much for your donations, love and kindness you showed from yesterday's post. 

This is why I love this community so much. 

Today I bring a little tutorial. 

Many of you commented on my bun. 

I wanted to show you how I do my top knot.

My way is not the "right way" by any means, but this works for me!

And maybe it will work for you too!

Mohawk Tutorial

Finally!! I edited the mohawk video! Not quite sure what I'm talking about? Let me refresh:

One day I decided to give myself a mohawk. 

No reason in particular. I had some time before I had to go to work, yes, I wore this to work, 

and so I just started messing around. 

Gwen Stefani is one of my biggest style icons, so that is what I was aiming for. 

THe response was huge! I don't know if people just commented because it was just the right amount of crazy, or just because they didn't know what else to say, but it was a great day none-the-less.

Funny Story...

Katie and I (pictured above) had our polka dot brunch, as planned... and guess what?

We ran into one of my ex boyfriends. And his WHOLE FAMILY.

I could only imagine they thought I was on a brunch date... in matching sweaters.

I totally like dudes.

Keep it Casual

If I never had to do my hair I would be one happy lady. 

Unfortunately, I have the mane of a ravage lioness. 

Sometimes I find treasures hidden inside (Mostly just tiny dreds) 

So my solution? Invest in head gear. No... not the dorky kind.

I guess that depends on who you ask.

I've always had a little place in my heart for a preppy headband or two, but I have found myself more drawn to the bohemian style.

I think it goes much better with the out of control hair...

I am LOVING my new lens! It's so much fun for my outfit pictures. And it looks really beefy on my camera body. 

As we know... it's all about the looks :)

Mean Girl

I'm going to confess something to you that I have put out of my mind for far too long. This is something I am not proud of, but I'm human and I feel that I've tried to make up for these wrong doings with good deeds.

In high school I was a mean girl. I really didn't have that many friends, but I seemed to jump around a lot from group to group. One day you hated me, the next day you loved me. I was out of place in high school, I didn't really have a direction and I didn't have a strong connection with most people at my school (of course there are those select few that I STILL consider my great friends, but for the most part I was a floater).

I would say mean things about people, claiming "It's my opinion. I'm strong willed..blahh blahh..." I did vicious things like trying to put eye drops in a girls water, or writing "bitch" on a girls car with window paint. And I laughed about it. I laughed and thought I was SO clever. And then, I would deny it if I ever got caught. I'm telling you, you didn't want to know me.

I lied, drank, and did stupid things to hurt others without EVER thinking of the consequences. I was truly lost.

Yes... Sabrina, ME, was buried deep down somewhere in that troubled girl, but she was really hard to find.

Due to recent events,  I have thought a lot about who I used to be and the things I would say and do. As each year passes I can see changes within myself, my confidence. In much recent years I have found my true self. That self revolves around family, good friends, creativity and happiness. I strive to bring joy into every day into every situation.

Yes, I may have done some awful things, maybe unforgivable things, but I KNOW I have learned. I change for the better everyday of my life, and I can only hope to continue.

I never want to be that person that tell you who I am. I always want to be the person to show you.

In Closing:

I can't say that I don't have moments of meanness... but I have found what truly makes me happy and I think that is the biggest change of all. I now live in love. You should try it, it's kind of life changing.

Hair Did
