WWD MAGIC: On the floor

Being an official blogger for WWD MAGIC has been pretty amazing so far. Basically I get to talk with designers, stores and brands. Try on amazing shoes and clothes. Take pictures of accessories and details. I want to do this every day. All day. This is what I absolutely love.

Here I am able to combine my love of talking to people, entertaining and fashion. I'm in heaven.

Here are just a FEW of the pieces I have fallen in love with while browsing the floor. The first two pieces are from a brand called Search For Sanity. They will be launching at Nordstrom next week! They let me borrow a few pieces for a Discovery session and I was so thrilled to speak about the detailing and beautiful craftsmanship they tailor into each piece. I cannot wait to to get my hands on this brand again!

WWDMAGIC- Seychelles

My love affair with shoes is pretty obvious. I pretty much decided on my apartment because it had a built-in where I could display all of my shoes. It may be an issue.

Some of my favorite (and most worn) shoes are 100% my Seychelles "Hawk" booties. Whenever I wear these my legs look a million miles long and I feel like a milli. Who wouldn't love that?

Seychelles is a brand that is all about mixing the feminine and playful. This style completely suits me. I love mixing girly pieces with unexpected details. I pair my Seychelles with jeans, dresses, shorts... anything really!






Oh, if I had an unlimited shoe budget! Unfortunately I have to pay rent and eat... pshhh.

So now I bet your wondering what the title of this post is all about WWDMAGIC.
Innnnnteresting.
No... it's not a Magic Camp, although I would love to learn more than just my one card trick that ends in 52 card pick-up.

WWDMAGIC is a fashion convention held twice a year in the magical land of Las Vegas. Vendors from all over the world come to preview their lines of apparel, accessories and footwear. Seems likea good fit for me, no? And seeing as how I have not experienced Vegas as a 25 year old woman.... I want to be apart of this!!

In the midst of a miniature snow storm, my little summery heart suddenly fell flat. With two days of consistent sunshiney weather I unearthed the bottoms and backs of my drawers for anything that would match the delight that was in my heart. 

A little slushy snow is not going to stop me. 

So, open toed shoes and tank tops it is. 

But only when I can find cover under a bridge, that is. 

This skirt is my new favorite. I have been looking for a full skirt that doesn't make me look like a cupcake. 

Unless it's a sexy cupcake, in which case, I ask you:

It's Just Too Much

For some reason I can't get the words out. I'm not sure why, but this post was originally supposed to be about an entirely different topic.  So For now... it will be about this.


There are those people that come into your life that you know will be there forever. Whether you talk everyday, once a week, once a year... or you may never talk to them again. They hold a little piece of your heart. I am so fortunate to have friends and family that will always be there for me and love me unconditionally. This year has brought a lot of change. And I am changing for the better. The coming and going of friends, change in jobs, and complete heartbreak. Somethings are easier to get over than others. I'm sure you can guess which one I am still dealing with. 
That is what I was going to post about.
Unfortunately, It's almost like reliving it as I type each word. 
So, for now, I will be thankful. 


Thankful for the love in my life. The love that I experience everyday. 
And the future love that I so truly deserve. 

P.s. Are Harem pants even cool anymore? haha I'm not exactly sure if they are... but can I tell you how COMFY they are! It's like cute, thin sweatpants!
