Long weekend

Monday was Founder's Day at Gonzaga. And I celebrated in the most appropriate way:
by drinking an entire bottle of wine and making pasta. #FattyPatty

Here are a few pictures from the events of the weekend. And by a few... I mean a shit ton.
And if you're wondering why I'm swearing so much.... see the second sentence.

*Raven would be proud!!

I ran to a beautiful park. I ate healthy food. Then I had a martini with Bacon.... well I had a sip. it wasn't awesome, unfortunately.

Spokane has the most beautiful Autumns, by the way... I dare you to send me a more beautiful picture :)

Then I worked and met up with some friends at a martini bar.

The Sapphire Lounge. I just don't think I will ever go back. Which is unfortunate. The ambiance, great. The drinks, great. The TIME. Holy you-know-what. We waited *no joke* nineteen minutes for the mixologist to create 1 drink. That's just not practical. When I want a drink I want it now. Patience just isn't my strong suit. (Although that's what my name means in Arabic.)

Because I was so impatient we headed to the next nearest bar. Baby Bar.
It's tiny and awesome and Ben was drunk and turned into a photographer. It was fantastic.

I promise we weren't in the Red Light District, although it was just as dirrrty. hmmm
Gotta Love Spokane.

And your weekend? Tell me.

Any Spokane/ Washington Readers?

I second Raven's comment about not thinking the first pics at the martini bar were pics from your real life... you got skilllssss woman.

Was there an official Ben intro? did I miss it? I must become a better blog reader eeekk

I couldn't wait 19 minutes for a drink... heck, I can barely wait 19 minutes for food!

First of all, I love Spokane. I’ll be over there in April for a volleyball tournament! Pretty much I’ll be there every year in April for volleyball.
Second, I’m pretty sure I know the blonde haired chick in your pictures. What is her name?

oh em gee those pictures are amazing! Seriously, like Raven said ... something out of a magazine. I didn't think they were real at first either. And Washington looks very gorge, never been but Raven keeps coercing me with promises of lots of booze. I'm sure I'll be in your neck of the woods sometime in the near future!! Can't wait!

I've had a bacon martini before and it was delicious. Actually- it was a jalapeno/bacon/strawberry (the bacon was so subtle). Yumyum!

Pictures look amazing. Now that I'm in SF I'm determined to get to Oregon and Washington.

Hey! Spokane! My area was North Indian Trail while I was out there. Absolutely freaking GORGEOUS in the winter time.

I'm not from Washington, but I'm from Oregon! :) I do love our seasons here, but it's almost not worth it since our winters last from like November-May! ;)
