And this was the weekend

This is what my weekend looked like. I had Sunday off which is SO rare! I was going to go to that Zee Avi show, but instead Brooke and I decided to get Shellac'd! It was pretty fun. We were in need of some TLC and that is exactly what we got. (Everything but the Red Light Special)

Please tell me you remember that song!

Have you ever heard of Shellac? It's supposed to last 2-3 weeks and doesn't chip! The salon we went to didn't have that many colors.. but I'm pretty happy with the deep red (I guess I'll have to be for at least 2 weeks!)

Now it's back to real life.. although all of my monday classes got cancelled!! 3 day weekend! I know, be jealous. Kidding of course. I have a LOT of things to do. It makes my head spin.

What did you do this weekend? Oh PS... I ordered some business cards from Posh Girl Boutique on Etsy. I LOVE them!

I'm pretty sure shellac is the best thing since sliced bread. Literally. I've done it several times and one time it lasted 17 days. Un.Heard.Of.

I have never heard of that ice cream before. Pretty sure i'm heading to the store tonight coming home to wayne and saying... mmmm some sweddy balls sounds pretty nice right about now... we'll see how he takes it. Possibly disappointed? I think so. I love you! Almost your birthday! WOOT!

So many great things about your weekend! I've done Shellac a few times, and I think it looks great as well... buuuut, I am a major fidgit-er and tend to pick at it! It comes off in a big piece and when i'm bored that is the greatest thing ever. I like it though because it doesn't ruin your real nails like the gel or acrylic overlays. (I am a serious manicure-aholic).

ps my toesies are still in tact from texas. I refuse to take the polish off until it falls off! it just reminds me of texas, vibrating chairs, and creepy girls staring at me

the twizzlers pic is SO cute. and the funny face one!

Shellac is bomb dot com. Like life changing. If only I could afford them more often. You should see the hideous nails I've been sporting all week. Its embarassing I've been to work and traveled with my hands in this condition. I really like the red! Good call. They can do french too, which I really liked as well. Moral of this story is shellac/gel nails rock my socks off. Ta ta pretty girl!!

Shellac is amazing. It really does last 3 weeks. I even worked the cows (read: cow wrestling and looking cute in boots) with my nails painted Shellac pink and they survived.

I love shellac....I just got my
3rd manicure last weekend. The one prior to this lasted about 4 weeks other than my nails growing out, I was chip free. I do wish they had more of a color selection. I'm rocking black...again.

I WISH I could wear nail polish at work...They are nail-polish-nazi's for no reason whatsoever, so until I find a career or at least a different restaurant (I serve and bartend now)NO shellac for me :(
