Cali: Day 1

Apologies, my friends. I have been slacking. Real Bad. I'm going to try to get your up to speed here but it may take a little while because I have been in California for the past 5 days. So I'll try to break it down for ya.

First day:
It began with a phone call at 3:00 am saying my flight has been delayed from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. REALLY.

So I get my butt outta bed, call a taxi and frantically pack everything I think I need. 30 mins later I'm on my way to the airport crossing my fingers I'll be able to make it on the 6am flight!
I get there and the lady tells me I have to buy a one way ticket and then they will refund me later. Perfect.
After $225 + $30 ticketing fee I was on my way to Cali. (Don't you worry, I'm getting every penny of that back!)

I arrive at LAX at 10:30 am where Tay is waiting. The Fun Begins.
We get manicures and then head out to get ready for a BBQ. Lay poolside, drinking margaritas and eating fresh guacamole.
I'm. In. Heaven.

Instead of BBQ'ing I guess we decided to go to El Matador. Apparently this place has the strongest margaritas in the world. I don't think they really effected me.

Totally sober.

My first day in Cali was a blast. Compared to all of the rest, this day was pretty calm! Promise I'm not an alcoholic... but these next few posts will be filled with party pics :) Unfortunately I didn't bring my new camera so these pics are all from my point and shoot... but looking back I'm glad I didn't bring it. I'm not sure if it would have survived the trip!

I'm going to catch up on some homework and then catch up one your BLOGS!! I've missed you too much!!

p.s. Hello new followers!

Hey Sabrina,
Thanks for the warm wishes! All day yesterday I used a 50mm 1.8 lens, on my Canon T1i. It's a prime lens that fits perfect in my purse! Glad you liked the post!
