Port

One step closer to starting treatment. 

I had my port successfully placed early Thursday morning and everything went as planned. Recovery was an hour or so of the medicine wearing off and sipping some water until they knew I could walk on my own. 

We were back home by 9am and I was cuddled up on the couch ready to relax.

Healing quite nicely and today there was only mild discomfort. 

I've decided to move forward with scalp cooling. The system my cancer center uses is Cooler Heads. I have been watching all the videos I can to try to soak up as much information before I start. I will have an education session with a rep from the company so I won't have to learn everything on my own.
