Five am and I'm on the road.
No need for coffee, the thrill of the day ahead has my adrenaline running like crazy (plus Katie hooked me up with some new music... amazing!)
As I pulled into Seattle, I had about 2 hours to kill. I made a pit stop at Whole Foods and then headed back to my car so I could finishin getting ready.
aka Get dressed and do my makeup.
I got some funny looks.
Okay here's the rundown of everything regarding The Bachelor:
Last week I received a call from one of the casting directors saying they loved my video and they would love it if I could come to Seattle to meet them at the casting call. (I was already planning on coming anyway... but NOW I had a great reason!)
So then I walked in to the beautiful Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle and was lead up a large marble staircase. I walked into a banquet room and looked around.
The casting call said "Dress in date attire" but I saw girls in jeans... and leggings... I was like
whaaaaaa....
But really. Maybe that's what they wear out on a date... I don't want to judge, so I made sure to put my best foot forward.
I only had to wait a few minutes until I was called to take some photos. And then called into a separate room for a little video interview. I talked about where I'm from, what I do and a brief dating history. It was all really quick but in the end I got the chance to talk to the casting director and producer that had called me. Everyone was SO sweet and kind. They referred to specific details about my video which made me SO excited!
My experience with The Bachelor so far has been incredibly positive so I can't help to get a good feeling when I think about it! The first round of call backs will be in July. So keep your fingers crossed for me!
